A TAKU project
The library in the birches
A reading pavilion set among birch trees. Its long roof and glass walls let the forest in on every side.
We design homes that hold light

We are TAKU, an architecture studio in Copenhagen designing homes, libraries and workplaces that hold the light and age well.
Light,drawnintorooms
TAKU is an architecture studio for the places people use every day. We draw around the light a site already has, the routes people already take and the materials that will still look right in thirty years.
The result is a building that feels considered from the first step inside.
